Yogyakarta International Airport
Client: PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero)

Following a very competitive tender process, Bluevisions has partnered with two other Project Management Consultancies in Indonesia, and was appointed as the Project Management and Supervision Consultant for the New Yogyakarta International Airport. It will become the country's first airport city, expected to commence operations in March 2019, providing capacity for 15 million passengers every year. By 2031 Kulon Progo Airport will have 10 times more capacity than the existing Yogyakarta Airport. With very tight time constraints, blueVisions brings in innovative project management methods to reach the airport's opening in March 2019.




Ainslie and Gorman House Upgrade
Client: ACT Procurement and Capital Works

The project involved the staged refurbishment of two heritage listed arts centres, Ainslie and Gorman House, and their surrounding landscape. The centres are used as public performance spaces, required specialised AV and IT equipment, and have designated areas for offices and workstations and specialised class rooms for arts, recreational and educational purposes. The project scope and design, as well as some construction methodologies, were heavily constrained by planning and heritage approval pathways. The centres are located within close proximity of each other and remained occupied during construction the development, monitoring of a staged program as well as managing the consultants and end-user interface was critical to ensure each milestone was achieved seamlessly.

Client: Sydney Olympic Park Authority

blueVisions managed a program of Sydney Olympic Park projects end-to-end, including tender preparation, issue, assess, award, administering the Contract, including variation management. Lead, coordinate and capitalise projects, including scope, cost, time, quality and risk. Provide project progress, expenditure & cash flow forecasts. Manage internal/external stakeholders at all levels. The most exciting aspect of the program is the variety of projects being delivered including, aquatic centre seat replacement, restoration of belvedere lake Island, construction of carpark construction, design of street intersection & traffic lights.




Department of Justice - Consultant Services - Senior Project Manager
Client: NSW Department of Justice

blueVisions managed a program of projects end-to-end including tender preparation, issue, assess, award, contract administration and variation management. blueVisions lead, coordinated and capitalised projects, including scope, cost, time, quality and risk and provided project progress, expenditure & cash flow forecasts, as well as managed internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The diverse range of projects delivered included escort vehicle refurbishments, security fencing, upgrade to existing holding room cells, replacement of roof waterproof membrane, supply & installation of new pre-fabricated building, electrical upgrade to a correctional facility and carpark construction.


Abbotsburry Track Works Project Management Services
Client: Western Sydney Parklands Trust

The NSW Government established the Trust to be responsible for managing and developing the parkland. The Trust is committed to the ongoing improvement and embellishment of the Parklands and has developed a five Year Activation Plan which delivers recreational capital works to facilitate capital improvements to existing and new recreational facilities within the Parklands. blueVisions was engaged to manage the design, procurement of contractors and project management of the construction stage of Abbotsburry Track Works Stage 1 to upgrade the existing track network in the Parklands, including new trailheads and bridge to improve connections to the surrounding residential areas and to enhance the visitor experience of the Parklands track network.




Cecil Hills Tracks - Project Management
Client: Western Sydney Parklands Trust

Macquarie Mall Revitalisation Programming Services
Client: Liverpool City Council

Liverpool City Council dedicated itself to a transformation of Liverpool's downtown, including Macquarie Street Mall and Bigge Park, into an urban centre that will draw people day and night, generate jobs and attract investment. The Macquarie Mall Revitalisation project included an aggressive time line and complex staging as the works occurred on a busy pedestrian traffic. blueVisons assisted Liverpool City Council develop strategic programme which enabled them to manage the staging and stakeholder requirement. bluevisions assisted Liverpool City Council during construction to monitor the progress and provide an independent review of the Contractor's program.


Strategic Projects - New Perth Stadium Planning Services
Client: Strategic Projects part of - WA Department of Treasury

The new Perth Stadium is a $1.6 Billion, multi-purpose 60,000 seat venue accommodating AFL, cricket, rugby union, soccer and entertainment events. blueVisions was responsible for preparing Integrated Master Program schedule, monitoring project progress and resources against baseline, reporting, risk assessment and mitigation. By implementing a realistic Integrated Master Program, blueVisions was able to provide a resolution of issues that led to a positive outcome.

The Sydney Opera House is undergoing a period of significant change with the commencement of the Building Renewal Program, to be delivered by the Building Portfolio. Blue Visions in the role of Project Manager provides full and comprehensive project management services, supporting the Project Director, with the concept design and project development of multiple projects associated with the Building Renewal Program.


Redevelopment

Project Description

Burwood has been identified by the NSW Government as a Major Centre, set to grow significantly in the next 25 years. The Burwood Civic Precinct Redevelopment reflects this planned growth and plays a key role in the council's strategic Future Directions program. The project included design and construction of a new library, commercial and office space, multi-purpose auditorium, underground car parking and a vibrant new civic and cultural square. The challenges of this project include:

  • Development of a master programme that provided thorough analysis of the design process, resource and construction methodology
  • Providing a detailed master programme that clearly defined the authority approvals, design process, tender process, and the construction process
  • Stakeholder engagement in a diverse and complex stakeholder environment

Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Ultimo
Client: Belmadar

The $34m project was built on site of historical significance. It comprised of two levels and a basement carpark. First level included a fitness centre and multipurpose area, and second level is a 50 m pool, 15m hydrotherapy pool and free form leisure pool. The project incorporated a unique waveform roof and piloti columns. blueVisions assisted Belmadar during the critical concrete structure works of the project, reviewed their contract programme and assisted Belmadar in developing the detailed construction programme for the remaining works. blueVisions was also responsible for undertaking a review of the design and attending site for site inspections.


Sydney Town Hall Upgrade
Client: City of Sydney

The Sydney Town Hall Upgrade project was the completion of stage 1 of a five year plan to restore, conserve and protect the 19th century building, bringing the Town Hall into the modern era while retaining its historic charm and respecting its heritage significance. blueVisions also undertook a review of the design and attended site for the site inspections.


The Concourse, Chatswood
Client: AW Edwards Pty Limited

The $160m project comprises of 1000 seat concert hall, 500 seat theatre and 5000m2 library. The state-of-the-art facilities also included civic pavilion, studio, retail, cafe and public open space area. blueVisions assisted AW Edwards in developing the contract programme which incorporates an extensive design, procurement and construction activities. blueVisions worked with AW Edwards on monthly basis to update the programme. This included identifying critical delays, activities re-sequencing to mitigate delays, developed detailed shortterm programme to manage critical subcontractors. blueVisions responsibility also involved the provision of design review as well as attending site for site inspections.


QLD Building and Education Revolution
Client: Australian Federal Govt

The Building the Education Revolution $16.2 billion (BER) program was the single largest element of the Australian Government's $42 billion Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan. The aim was to modernise schools through the delivery of necessary infrastructure and by doing so, support local jobs and stimulate investment, delivering world-class, 21st century facilities. blueVisions was responsible for the successful role out and award winning of multiple construction and refurbishment projects in fourteen schools throughout Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and rural Queensland. In addition, blueVisions also provided design review and site inspections.
