Downing Centre and John Maddison Tower Refurbishment

blueVisions was engaged as Project Manager on behalf of NSW Department of Justice and Attorney General to manage the design, tender, construction andncommissioning of Downing Centre and John Maddison Tower refurbishment project. The project comprised internal refurbishment and relocation of staff within two office buildings, involving ten different departments within the two buildings as well as from other buildings and locations. The project was carried out while maintaining full operational during the project life cycle. The project came in under budget.

Qantas Business Lounge and Conference Room Fitout
Client: Qantas Airways

Project Description
The fitout of Qantas Terminal 3 domestic business lounges and conference room. The fitout works was carried out in several stages to maintain the operational of Qantas existing area.

Department of Justice - Office Fitout
Client: Minister for Justice & Police for the state of New South Wales

blueVisions was appointed for the provision of Project Management and Contract Administration Services during the construction phase for the fit out of the Department of Justice. The project scope included the refurbishment and fit out of offices, conciliation rooms, hearing rooms, staff workspaces and associated amenities with great emphasis on the coordination of Audio Visual, IT and Security installations. Many stakeholders had a vested interest in the design and operation of the spaces as well as a strict timeframe for completion. blueVisions played a key role managing the consultation process with client representatives and service providers, which was imperative to mitigate implications on the construction budget and program and achieve project success.

Fairfield Courthouse Upgrade
Client: NSW Department of Justice and Attorney General (Department of Justice NSW)

blueVisions was engaged as Project Manager on behalf of NSW Department of Justice and Attorney General to manage the design, authority approval, tender, construction and commissioning of Fairfield Courthouse Upgrade project. The project comprised internal refurbishment, refit and minor external works including new roof and landscape works. The project involved relocation of staff and maintaining full operational during the project life cycle.

Sydney Cricket Ground Stage 2 Upgrade
Client: AW Edwards Pty Ltd

The $180m project comprised construction of 13,000 grandstand, installation of largest video screen at Australian sports ground, dining area, function rooms, three new bars, corporate suites, members area, and back of house facilities. blueVisions assisted AW Edwards in developing detail contract programme which incorporates a design, procurement and construction activities. blueVisions worked with AW Edwards on monthly basis to status and update the programme to meet several tight milestones deadline, including handing over 13,000 seats for the 2014 Ashes.

Transport House Refurbishment
Client: Kell and Rigby Pty Ltd / Mulpha Australia

The project is a refurbishment of seven storey heritage listed commercial office building to achieve A-grade office space. The refurbishment involved restoration of common areas. blueVisions assisted Kell and Rigby in developing detail contract programme which incorporates authority approval, procurement and construction activities. The programme took into account extra time required to restore the heritage items including the delicate activities to refurbish the sandstone facade. blueVisions worked with Kell and Rigby on monthly basis to status and update the programme to manage and mitigate potential delay on the project.
